We love leaning into seasonal, locally grown flowers for wedding designs whenever we can. The fall season is bittersweet because there are so many gorgeous blooms but it also means the end of growing season is upon us. Here’s a few of our PNW-grown fall flowers that we love using in our designs.

Heirloom Chrysanthemums

Mums are so much more than what you see at a typical grocery stores or nurseries. They come in a ton of gorgeous complex colors and unique textures—they absolutely deserve a place in your wedding florals.

Dahlias

The queen of summer/fall flowers comes in a ton of colors, shapes, and sizes to fit any wedding palette and vibe. A tried and true favorite among couples.

Antique Hydrangea

Hydrangea start to change color once the weather cools down in September. The exact color shifts depend on the variety of hydrangea but it tends towards deep pinks and burgundies.

Japanese Anemones

Dainty little flowers that are perfect for weddings since they are available in white and light pink.

Sedum

Sedum has a great texture for fall weddings and also tends to change color as the season changes. It starts out as a light-medium pink and then becomes a deeper red. It’s a great filler flower that can work with a variety of palettes.
